Whitening, Veneers, or Bonding: Which Smile Upgrade Fits You?

Three proven ways to improve your smile, and how to know which one matches your teeth, your goals, and your budget.

Professional whitening

If your teeth are healthy and evenly shaped but dull or stained (coffee, tea, red wine, and time all take their toll), professional whitening is the simplest upgrade. In-office bleaching brightens teeth several shades in a single visit, with results far beyond what drugstore strips achieve, applied safely under professional supervision.

Cosmetic bonding

Bonding uses tooth-colored composite resin, sculpted and polished directly on the tooth, to repair chips, close small gaps, and cover discolored spots. It's completed in one visit, requires little or no removal of natural tooth, and is the most budget-friendly fix for isolated imperfections.

Porcelain veneers

Veneers are thin, custom-crafted porcelain shells bonded to the front of the teeth. They transform teeth that are deeply stained, worn, chipped, or unevenly spaced, resolving color and shape at once. Porcelain resists staining and looks remarkably like natural enamel, which is why veneers are the foundation of most complete smile makeovers.

Not sure which fits? Dr. Goldfarb has designed smiles for 30 years and will give you an honest assessment of what your smile actually needs. Sometimes it's less than you think. Call (718) 232-2100 for a cosmetic consultation.
